What is TB-500?
TB-500 (Thymosin Beta-4 fragment (Ac-LKKTETQ)) is a 7-amino acid synthetic fragment. Sequesters G-actin to promote cell migration, activates an independent VEGF-mediated angiogenesis pathway, and modulates NF-κB to reduce inflammatory signalling. Non-overlapping with BPC-157 — complementary repair targets.
Research Applications
Cell Migration & Wound Repair
Actin sequestration enabling directed fibroblast/endothelial migration
Independent Angiogenesis
VEGF pathway activation distinct from BPC-157 NO/VEGF axis
Anti-Inflammatory
NF-κB modulation and inflammatory cytokine reduction
Cardiac Repair
Cardiomyocyte protection and cardiac tissue healing models
Muscle Repair
Skeletal muscle satellite cell activation and regeneration
