What is AHK-Cu?
AHK-Cu (Alanine-Histidine-Lysine copper(II) — GHK-Cu structural homolog) is a Copper-binding tripeptide (Ala-His-Lys·Cu²⁺). Copper-binding tripeptide structurally analogous to GHK-Cu with Ala substituting Gly at the N-terminus. Activates fibroblast collagen synthesis, inhibits MMP activity, and has angiogenic properties via copper-mediated mechanisms — different tissue distribution and receptor affinity profile from GHK-Cu.
